Mirek is a movement, conditioning and strength instructor. His training methods are reflections of his dynamic personality. His precision and willingness to work hard and learn is the same he expects from you. Lia is a dance and movement instructor. Her work is uniquely shaped by her experience from different movement backgrounds as an artist, sports instructor and a dancer. As the gentle part of the team, she will provide a safe space for you to cultivate your body awareness and explore new movements. She will give you time and energy to pause, breathe and incorporate active rest in your daily routine.

For me, 28 days in Paradise was a mental rest after years. I left work worries on the other side of the world, turned off my mobile and focused on myself and what I like to do. I had a really great time at the 28 days in paradise retreat at Phuket! Mirek and Lia put together an amazing program for these 4 weeks, both the training and activities in our free time. There is so much variation in the training, from lifting weights and callisthenics, to running and yoga. I am always open to trying everything, so this suits me well.
Every time I train with Mirek I am amazed by the eye of detail he has for how people move and how they can improve. Even more important; how to prevent injuries caused by bad form. One look at your deadlift and he can tell you exactly what can be improved.
Besides all the training, of course there is also enough time for the swimming pool, beach, excursions and amazing Thai food!
I have always had a strength over flexibility mindset, thinking you can have one but not the other. Mirek’s training is emphatic truth that this is not the case: you can gain strength and flexibility at the same time.
I was fortunate enough to meet Mirek and Lia in Phuket and train with them for several weeks… not long enough! Picture cardio in the morning at one of the local beaches/stairs/hills, mobility training later that morning in an open-air gym, followed by strength training in the early afternoon. Throw in some quality Thai food (and some lounging by the pool for good measure) and you have what I consider to be the optimal environment for GAINZ. I was thrilled when they told me they were setting up a program in Thailand for early 2024.
